1 Know your body and be comfortable with what it is. Try looking into a mirror and appreciating how amazing your body really is. Your body is a masterpiece, and it can do some incredible stuff if you learn how to use it.
2 To be graceful, it helps a lot to be physically fit. So if you don't exercise, now is the time to start. You don't have to run marathons or lift huge weights. Just do a little at a time, and do it consistently every day, or at least a couple of times a week.Yoga can be of great help!
3 Get as much sleep as you need. If necessary, go to bed earlier. If you go through your day half-comatose, you will not be graceful at all.
4 Correct your posture. Graceful people stand up straight and sit straight. Don't slouch when you're sitting at your desk (adjust the chair height if needed). You might want to consult a chiropractor, if you can afford it. If you work for a big company, chances are you can get an expert to make sure your work space is "ergonomically correct."
5 Stretch daily. Yes, every day. Even on days when you don't exercise. There are lots of websites and books that tell you how to stretch, so learn the basics and do it safely. Don't hurt yourself doing it, but do it. Graceful people have a full range of movement, and you can't have that if you don't stretch regularly.
6 Take a dance class. (More than one is even better, but not at the same time!) Ballet is the traditional epitome of graceful movement, and it's not as dorky as it sounds.
7.Take an acting class. Graceful people are poised and confident, both verbally and nonverbally. Learn some good gestures and movements, and use them.
8 Speak with your head up, in a clear voice. Talk to the person in front of you, not to your shoes.
9 Don't wear clothing that restricts your movement in awkward ways. High heels look cool, for example, but they shouldn't be worn for long periods. Baggy oversized pants give you a weird shuffle that is not very graceful. Always wear clothes that make you feel cool and attractive, and style your hair properly!
10 Have fun. Graceful people are "comfortable in their own skin." They know how beautiful they are.
