China has replaced US as the 2nd largest consumer of luxury goods
Beijing,Sept.19 (China News Agency) China has become one of the countries with the strongest purchasing power of luxury cars.At present,many luxury cars vie to tap the Chinese market.Today,Lamborghini Motor Company, Italy's top sports car maker,officially released to China their new ultra-luxury car--Gallardo LP 550-2 Valentino Balboni,whose quantity is limited to 250 globally and whose name comes from Valentino Balboni,its legendary test driver.
Latest statistics show that Daimler Group, compared with the same period last year,has seen 18% decline of the global sales,while whose sales has increased by 4 % in China; and the BMW Group's global sales has fallen by 19%,while rising 26% in China; and Audi has dropped by 8 percent globally, growing 15% in China.In addition, while the financial crisis shrinks the demand for luxury brands in Europe,the United States and Japan,the market of Chinese luxury goods is still getting better.Now,China's luxury consumption has accounted for 25% of the global market, firstly replacing the US as the world's second largest consumer of luxury goods.
China's ever-growing demand for luxury cars fuels the ever-increasing investment of new products by the auto magnates.Eginardo Bertoli,the Italian sales manager of Lamborghini in China,told the reporter that Lamborghini,the world's top sports car maker,attaches great importance to China,and they will bring more top sports car to the Chinese consumers following this type of car.
On the professional circuit in Shanghai,Valentino Balboni,the legendary test driver,driving this type of car,shows his skyrocketing speed to the crowd, rivaling that of the F1 Formula One racing. With this new type of super-run car landing in China,it is expected that more and more Chinese consumers will become its owner.

最新統計顯示,今年前七個月戴姆勒集團全球銷量同比下降近一成八,而在華銷量同比增長四成九;寶馬集團全球銷量同比下降一成九,而在華銷量同比增長二成六;奧迪全球銷量同比下降百分之八,在華銷量卻增長一成五。此外,在金融危機使歐美日奢華品牌需求普遍萎縮時,中國奢華品市場卻依然向好。目前中國奢侈品消費已占全球市場的二成五,首次超過美國成為世界第二大奢侈品消費國。
中國市場對頂級豪華車需求的不斷提升促使海外汽車巨頭不斷增加新產品投入力度。意大利蘭博基尼汽車中國區經理易納德對記者說,全球頂級跑車制造商蘭博基尼非常重視中國市場,繼本款車型之后,他們還將為中國消費者帶來更多的頂級跑車。
在上海國際賽車場的專業賽道上,傳奇試車手波爾伯尼駕駛本款豪華車向眾人展示了極速狂飆,其動感不亞于F1方程式賽車。此間專家預計,隨著這款全新超跑在中國的登陸,將有更多的中國消費者成為它的主人。
