Illegal genetically modified rice from China has once again reached Europe, this time the UK.
British authorities have found a consignment on a ship from the Netherlands, the European Commission said yesterday. This is the same strain that was discovered on supermarket shelves in Austria and Germany last year, though Beijing has since said it had tightened detection.
來自中國的非法轉基因大米已再次進入歐洲，這一次是出現在英國。
歐盟委員會(European Commission)昨日表示，英國官方在一艘來自荷蘭的船上發現了一批中國轉基因大米。這批大米與去年在奧地利和德國超市貨架上發現的大米屬于同一品種，盡管此后中國政府表示已加緊檢查工作。
