中國將實行食品召回制度(China to Install Food Recall System)

中國官方媒體報導說，中國將在年底前首次施行食物召回制度，以控制不安全食品的銷售。 官方英文報中國日報星期二報導，中國國家質量監督檢驗檢疫總局將循序實施召回制度，所有國內和國外生產商和經銷商都必須遵守這項系統。

報導援引總局食品生產監管司司長的話說，新的食品召回制度針對那些有潛在危險和未經批準的食物產品。他說，召回制將與國際通行標準接軌。

近年來，中國面臨一系列涉及食品污染的丑聞。食品生產監管司司長說，自2002年中國設立了與食物有關產品標準以來，中國的食品質量獲得了改善。

China's state-run media say the country will impose its first food recall system by the end of the year to try to control the sale of unsafe food products. The "China Daily" newspaper reports Tuesday that the General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine will impose the recall system gradually and that all domestic and foreign food producers and distributors will have to follow the system.

The newspaper quotes the director general of the administration's food production and supervision department as saying the new system will target potentially dangerous and unapproved food products. He said it would be in line with international practices.

China has faced a series of scandals involving tainted food in recent years. The director general says the quality of China's food products has improved since Beijing set standards for food-related products in 2002.
